The 14th Dalai Lama:
A Manga Biography
WHY I LOVED THIS BOOK
This was my first manga, and I was glad to see that this genre can be used for non-fiction, without crazy violent drawings. The emotions were well depicted.
I had just watched Kundun, so it was fun having the manga version of the movie.
It is a great way to introduce very serious topics to people who may not have been taught the patience to read a book with a classic format.
It is published by Penguin. They look like very smart publishers: now publishing mangas, and even classics in the Arabic language.
