The first #boutfbooks of the year is usually more difficult for me, because of Church activity, but this year I somehow managed both, and ended up reading double of what I expected, with a total of 911 pages (455 was my goal).
That’s an average of 130 Pages/day (my initial goal was 65).
That’s not as high as in #BoutofBooks 32 (where I reached 189 pages/day), but still I’m very happy.

Bout of Books 34 will be from May 9 to May 15.

I managed to finish 3 books:

  1. The Three-Body Problem, by Cixin Liu (library winter challenge)
  2. Red is my Heart, by Antoine Laurain
  3. Audiobook: Gravé dans le sable, by Michel Bussi

And read half of:

  1. Wabi Sabi, by Beth Kempton

And did a good dentin:

  1. Agatha Christie’s Poirot, by Mark Aldridge
  2. A Brush With Birds, by Richard Weatherly

The January Bout of Books is definitely a challenge for me, as I’m having my Orthodox Christmas right in it (on January 7), so with more time spent in Church, so less time for evening reads.
