Today, Brona highlights illuminations, and the sky occupies a large part of the picture.

So here is a picture with natural illumination and sky, taken a few years ago on Table Rock Lake in Missouri. I used to go there every year, to join a group of rockpainters! Have you ever seen my hand-painted rocks? (I haven’t updated this for a while).

I love this picture, as somehow I managed to take such a display of colors, and the reflection on the lake is so textured!

Table Rock Lake has the most interesting shape!
This will give you an idea. I stayed several years in a very nice and simple cabin near the blue dot:

Brona, who blog about book at Brona’s Books, is also a fantastic photographer and loves traveling. She invited me to her Thursday Travels meme.
I don’t travel much, but I thought I could give it a try.

Today, Brona highlights green texture.
On the same trip when I visited Three Pines, I went to Mont Tremblant, one of the many national parks in Quebec. After a steady hike up and up and up, I was gratified with this amazing view. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but I managed to wait for a bit of sun to catch this.
From up there, you can see several lakes connecting, and most interestingly, the forest from on top looked to me like a huge beautiful multi-colored broccoli. It was in October, at the peak of Fall colors.

This is actually much higher, this picture was taken with a bit of a zoom.

Today, Brona highlights landscape.
Here is a picture I took in Knowlton, in the Eastern Townships (Quebec). This is actually the little city where Louise Penny lives, the author of the great Armand Gamache series, so it’s a bit like Three Pines (since that post, I have read them all) and a Three Pines sign welcomes you!
Which reminds me, I have never yet done a post on my visit, so this could be a taste of it.
