Bout of Books 20:
Day 6 recap

BoB-Expert06

WHAT I READ ON DAY 6:

  1. Salt Creek:  69 pages – finished the book

  2. Enigma: 84 pages

TOTAL pages in DAY 6 = 153 pages
Busy day, am actually surprised I was able to read that much.
I didn’t do the challenge, lack of time and inspiration.
Will probably have even less reading time tomorrow.
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR:  620 /525

DON’T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!

AS AN EXPERT:

  • Discovered only 1 participant where I had not yet left a comment

WHAT I READ ON DAY 5:

  1. Salt Creek:  76 pages

  2. Blackbird Fly: 2 pages, well it should count as 4, as 2 in English and 2 by me in French

  3. Concerto pour quatre mains: 25 pages

  4. Enigma: 20 pages

TOTAL pages in DAY 5 = 123 pages
The best so far, and I probably won’t be able to read much today, with a meeting with friends and Church today and tomorrow.
I also listened to my audiobook for 65 mn, and finished it.
The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper is really delightful and the narrator awesome.
I didn’t do the challenge. No time for reviewing this week, apart from the one I posted on Monday.
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR: 467/525

BY THE WAY, DON’T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!

AS AN EXPERT:

  • The first days, I checked in order people who had signed up for Bout of Books 20. But it was frustrating to discover that several were actually not participating.
Then I followed a couple of day Sarah‘s advice (thanks Sarah! Be sure to look at her yummy recipes!!), and used a random number generators to check dozens of blog every day.
Finally yesterday, I decided to focus on those of you who posted the latest recap, and I managed to visit and leave a message at all the participants I had not yet visited. So 30 new boutofbloggers I had not yet met before!
So looks like one day or another I visited each of the boutofbookers who posted their recap yesterday

  • I followed 11 new people on Twitter

  • Followed 3 more bloggers on Instagram

WHAT I READ ON DAY 4:

  1. Salt Creek: 82 pages

  2. Blackbird Fly: 24 pages – am actually translating it into French, yes, that’s one of my jobs

TOTAL pages in DAY 4 = 106
One more page than yesterday!!
I also listened to my audiobook for 65 mn.
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR: 344/525

BY THE WAY, DON’T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!

ALSO:

  • I did the challenge:
If you like this, try that . . .
In case you have not seen it, come this way

AS AN EXPERT:

  • I followed 4 new people on Twitter, left tons of tweets and likes

  • Followed 2 more bloggers on Instagram

  • Visited and commented on 30 blogs

WHAT I READ ON DAY 3:

  1. Salt Creek: 93 pages

  2. Enigma: 12 pages

TOTAL pages in DAY 3 = 105
Finally, a decent day! I also listened to my audiobook for 30 mn.
But I didn’t do the rainbow spine challenge, as it would have looked too much like the one I did a few months ago.
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR: 238 /525

AS AN EXPERT:

  • I followed 6 new people on Twitter, left tons of tweets and likes

  • Followed 3 more bloggers on Instagram

  • Visited and commented on 40 blogs

WHAT I READ ON DAY 2:

  1. Salt Creek: 50 pages

  2. Enigma: 12 pages

TOTAL pages in DAY 2 = 62
Pathetic. I had to write a book review, and it took me longer than I expected.
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR: 133/525

ALSO:

  • I did the challenge:

    Synopsis rewrite
In case you have not seen it, come this way

AS AN EXPERT:

  • I followed 8 new people on Twitter, left tons of tweets and likes

  • Followed 11 more bloggers on Instagram

  • Visited and commented on 30 blogs

WHAT I READ ON DAY 1:

  1. Salt Creek: 67 pages

  2. Enigma: 4 pages

TOTAL pages in DAY 1 = 71
Not bad, as we had this crazy Twitter Party for an hour – crazy because of the speed of the tweets, though I have seen worse, lol!
+ 40 mn of audio time:  The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper
TOTAL PAGES SO FAR: 71/525

ALSO:

  • I did the challenge:

    Introduce Yourself #insixwords
In case you have not seen it, come this way

  • I posted a book giveaway

  • I took part in the Twitter chat, it was not as crazy as last year.

  • 13 new Twitter followers (@wordsandpeace), 1 new Instagram follower (@wordsandpeace1)
