Top Ten Books I Love
That Were Written Over Ten Years Ago
TTT for August 16, 2022
#TopTenTuesday
π π π
I have read A LOT of books published over ten years ago, and I love a lot of these, so I just went by chronological order of the last books I have read and chose the ones that fit the topic.
I have added on each cover the year it was published in (it goes from 1901 to 2008).
If you right click and “open the image in a new tab”, you can see the image much bigger, and even zoom in.
If you click on the picture,
you will land on my Goodreads shelf
And here are some links when I wrote something about them:
Fer-de-Lance
Down and Out in Paris and London
The First Men in the Moon
Confessions
The Bride Wore Black – probably my favorite of these ten
So Big
Death Going Down
Have YOU read
or are YOU planning to read any of these?
Please leave the link to your own post,
so I can visit.
Aww, I havenβt thought about Stuart Little in ages. What a great pick.

Definitely a neat book. I didn’t grow up in an English speaking country, so in my older years, I’m still discovering neat children’s books!

Great list! Looking at your choices, though, I can’t remember if I’ve ever actually read Stuart Little. I feel like I have but I also can’t remember anything about it. Sounds like time to pick it up! (Or pick it up again…)

STUART LITTLE is the only book I’ve read from your list. I loved it when I was a kid!

When I was in High School, we put on another play by Hansberry called “What Use are Flowers” which is NOTHING like Raisin…

Great list, Emma. I have “Down and Out in Paris and London” on my TBR pile, I thought I might get to it for Paris in July but … well, if I don’t read it before, 2023 also has a July. π
Thanks for visiting my TTT this week.
