Some time last year, I ran into this meme by Jo at The Book Jotter.
A fun way to look at the books you have read during the first 6 months of the year.
She has a huge bunch of prompts, see here her 2022 edition.
I ended up keeping, guess what, 6 categories. With 6 books in each, as requested.
And of course, I’m posting this on July 6th.
Year 2022: Six in six
Sorry, not taking time to link the covers
1
Six new authors to me,
whom I am looking forward to reading more of
2
Six books I have enjoyed the most
3
Six series of books read or started
4
Six Cool Classics
5
Six From the Non-Fiction Shelf
6
Six books I’ve read in an English translation
ARE YOU GOING TO DO A SIX IN SIX POST?
WILL ONE OF THESE BOOKS FEATURE ON YOUR POST?
You’ve tempted me to do six in six … I’ve no idea what I could come up with. I always enjoy looking back at my reading but I usually leave it till the end of the year.

Yes, please do and share Jo’s meme, I think it’s pretty neat, and there are so many categories to choose from

I love this and I might participate! There’s another tag I do every year that’s similar and I’m doing it next week, but I love that she gives you a bunch of different categories to choose from. I’m glad you discovered Blake Crouch, and I’m also interested in reading The Three Body Problem😁

Cixin Liu is fabulous.
Have you read his Supernova Era? Brilliant scifi!

I reviewed it, but it was my least favorite of hers (still a good book).
