The Friday Face-Off was originally created by Books by Proxy:
each Friday, bloggers showcase book covers on a weekly theme.
Visit Lynn’s Books (@LynnsBooks) for a list of upcoming themes.
Please visit also Tammy at Books, Bones & Buffy (@tammy_sparks)
thanks to whom I discovered this meme.
This week, the theme is
“Under the Sea”
I’m finally back! Last time was in March… Time flies.
For this week theme, this famous French classic scifi came to mind. That could be a nice incentive to reread it!
I still remember the gorgeous Jules Verne editions I read it as a child:
Bu there are other really neat covers:

WHICH COVER IS YOUR FAVORITE? WHY?
The choice was very difficult this week: I basically love each cover!
My favorite today is the last one, which is the Barnes & Noble 2012 Leather Bound edition.
It actually reminds me a bit of the style of my childhood edition, this time in blue.
Have you read this book?

Next Friday:
“Sparkling like the sea – a cover that is turquoise”
These are all great covers! For me, #7 and #8 jumped out and those are my favorites.

They’re all good except the one in the middle of the middle row – just totally off for me.

Yes, some covers are weird, sometimes you wonder why they choose to do this or that

Fantastic choice.
I love the first cover for some reason – and in fact the one directly below it. And the last. Doh, too many good covers.
