Top Ten Books with Names In the Titles
TTT for February 1st, 2022
#TopTenTuesday
📚 📚 📚
For this one, I decided to start by my latest reads.
Actually the top three are books I have read this January!
Please click on the book covers to access the books
or the Goodreads page
EDIT:
Attentive reader Elyse (see comments) pointed out that Noor is not the name of the girl. Of course! I have no idea what came up with me.
I even talked quite a bit about AO in my review!!
Have YOU read any of these?
Any great books you have read, that fit this meme?
Please leave the link to your own list,
so I can visit.
Great twist of the topic, you always come up with something special.
I have read Oscar et la dame rose but none of our characters share the same name..
My TTT this week.

There are actually so many titles, that I haven’t seen a lot of repeats

True. The only one I’ve seen twice so far is “Heidi” and I really should have included that on my list.

Yes, a good one!

Not just that, it was the first book I ever owned. Has always been special to me. But I found so many first name titles in the adult section that I didn’t even think about the children’s books on my list.

oh wow, your very first book! How precious!

Definitely. I got it when I was seven and in hospital to have my appendix removed. Not that we didn’t have any other books in the house but this was my very first children’s novel.

Having read Noor, Noor is not a character’s name. Noor are the wind-turbines in this futuristic society. There’s a Noor Solar Complex in Morocco. The word means “light” in Arabic. 🙂

Actually, you are right!! I guess in my mind I got confused with Binti!! Thanks for correcting me on this one

I completely forgot about Noor! Great list, I was surprised how easy this prompt was😁

I haven’t had a chance to read any of these, sadly. I have heard good things about he Beatryce Prophecy and may have to read that one. And although this is the first time I have heard about Murakami T: The T-Shirts I Love, I am very curious about it! Thank you for sharing!

Murakami T is nonfiction, it really is what he says it is. Not terrific, but it’s neat to get to know him a bit better this way

I completely forgot that the dog was named Winn-Dixie.
I’m looking forward to reading Wabi-Sabi, if it ever arrives for me from the library.

Yes, she named him that, because that’s the shop where she found him

Great way of highlighting books. I have only read Katherine’s Wish and The Invention of Morel, both very good.

Great! Not enough readers know Morel

What a fun way to do this week’s TTT. And Wabi Sabi makes for a great cat name. Thanks for commenting on my blog earlier. 🙂

I wonder how many people called their cat Wabi Sabi after reading this book, lol

I loved this prompt – such a lot of good books to choose from and I really enjoyed seeing what everyone came up with – even if somewhat belatedly.
