Revisiting what I posted 10 years ago,
following the idea I found at The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog

On the first Thursday of the month available on my site,
I’m planning to post about the previous month, 10 years before.

Today, I’ll be revisiting April 2011.
I published 8 posts, 3 of these were reviews.
Here is the one which received most views:
I really enjoyed this book.
Another book reviewed that month that has stayed with me, for the beauty of its writing and weirdness of its content!:

I read your reviews of both books — great reviews as always! I have never really read any non-fiction related to food critique/ history — maybe I should start with Curry. And Evolution is fascinating too. I read We are all Completely Beside Ourselves a few years back, which raises similar questions about what makes chimps and humans so different on the evolutionary scale, though that book dealt more with compassion, for all beings regardless.

Oh wow, I had no idea that theme was in We are all Completely Beside Ourselves as well. I’m not too happy with these old reviews, but obviously, there was room for growth, lol

Really? I though they were great. It got me interested in the books, so that’s what counts.

It’s a nice idea to look back on some previous reviews. And now I want an Indian curry!

Yes, the problem with that type of books is to make you hungry all along, lol

How fun that you can look back ten whole years to see what you were blogging about!

Yes, definitely fun to do. And also scary when I can’t remember reading a book, nor even sometimes reviewing it, and it’s right there!!
