Those are two books that I definitely enjoyed a lot.
The Elegance of the Hedgehog also got most comments of the month. Have you read it? Have you seen the movie? So so good!
Have you read any other book by Muriel Barbery? I have read Gourmet Rhapsody, which has a character in common with The Elegance of the Hedgehog, but it’s definitely not as good.

Sorry, but I definitely hated the Muriel Barbery because of the main character 😉 I recently read a novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, The signature of all things, that I loved very much, I’ll have to read her other novels…

Actually, I have never read any novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, this is a fascinating nonfiction

I like the idea of looking back at reads of the past. It’s also nice that you added other books we might like to read that are related.

I haven’t read The Elegance of the Hedgehog, but it is on my ever growing TBR list. So hopefully, it will make it onto my Throwback Thursday Post any day now. I’ve just read your review and yes – I still want to read it!

I read both Muriel Barbary books and liked them, but I agree, Hedgehog is better.

She has written two or three since, but I haven’t had a chance yet to read them
