#haiku
While doing the Japanese Literature Challenge 13, I read more about the art of Haiku.
I love short poems AND nature, and so I realized this fit perfectly.
And I was inspired to write some.
Not sure how long this will last,m but here are my first two:
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
DO YOU HAVE SOME TO SHARE,
BY YOU OR OTHER AUTHORS?
I like both of those! Maybe also because that’s what it looks like around here right now- very wintry and gray, which has its own beauty even if I do miss the sun. 🙂

I’ve written some in my day. None that I’d want to put on my blog, though.

I debated about that. But I wrote so many poems in my younger days that are just rotting in drawers, I thought I might as well share these

I started out writing poetry. I even published a few (and got paid for a couple of them). But the “help wanted” ads never had any opening for poets! So… now I’m a grant writer – but soon to be retired.

Historical fiction, based on LIE about my own family, where I try to figure out why my grandmother lied on the 1940 census!

oh wow, sounds fascinating! Though isn’t the year 1940 a big clue?

I wish it was whiter with more snow around here….. 🙂 Seriously though, they describe winter well in a short amount of words. Great job!
