Inspired by book blogger Davida, at The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog, herself inspired by a couple of other bloggers (see here for instance). I plan to post about it on Saturdays, except the 1st Sat of the month, when I usually feature another meme.
RESULTS FOR PREVIOUS READ OR SKIP
I’ll keep 147, 150, 152, 153, and 154
I’ll Skip: 148, 149, and 151
Thanks to your help, I have managed to considerably shorten my TBR. I have also done lots of trimming by myself, and am down to 698 titles. This may still sound crazy to you, but before I started this, I was close to double that amount.
So now, I’d like to start phase two.
This time, once a month, I am going to list the books I added to my TBR 2 months previously. For instance today, I’m posting what I added in August.
If you are familiar with any of these, please let me know
- which books I should absolutely read – if you reviewed them, the link to your review is most welcome
- which books I should just skip, and why
Thanks!

HAVE YOU READ THESE?
READ OR SKIP?
I have only read The Blind Assassin. I was not blogging when I read it in 2001. At the time it was Atwood’s latest novel. According to my reading log I read it in two days, all 521 pages, so it must have been a page turner! It has a science fiction story embedded in the plot of the novel. I would advise you not to skip it!
