New book by Blondel to review

New book by Blondel to review

As most of you know, I also run France Book Tours, a virtual book tour company focusing on books related to France.

Jean-Philippe Blondel is an excellent contemporary French writer.
A few years ago, I reviewed The 6:41 to Paris.
He writes short and quirky books, like several other contemporary French authors.

ExposedNew Vessel Press is going to publish Exposed in May, and thanks to them, we have review copies available.

A French teacher on the verge of retirement is invited to a glittering opening that showcases the artwork of his former student, who has since become a celebrated painter. This unexpected encounter leads to the older man posing for his portrait. Possibly in the nude. Such personal exposure at close range entails a strange and troubling pact between artist and sitter that prompts both to reevaluate their lives.
Blondel, author of the hugely popular novel The 6:41 to Paris, evokes an intimacy of dangerous intensity in a tale marked by profound nostalgia and a reckoning with the past that allows its two characters to move ahead into the future.

Come this way in case you would like to review it, or forward the information to book bloggers you think would enjoy it.
NB: for this tour, you need to reside in the US, and to have a book blog.
NB2: when you connect your review, you can earn points towards a gift card of your choice.
