Seriously, September already over?!
I just celebrated my 8th blogiversary this past Saturday, September 29. I knew it was coming, but it came too fast and I didn’t have time to do anything special for it!
It was not a stellar month for reading, though better than the summer.
Here is what I read in September:
5 in print and 1 in audio
= with 1,441 pages, an average of 48 pages/day
1 in audio
= with 10H54, an average of 21 mn/day
3 in nonfiction
The Piano Shop on the Left Bank, by Thad Carhart
Democracy in Chains, by Nancy MacLean – audio
Fear: Trump in the White House, by Bob Woodward
2 in mystery:
The Lady Killer, by Masako Togawa – ebook, for review
Point Blank, by Anthony Horowitz
1 in literary fiction:

Plans for October
- Catch up with a few long reviews, and start doing short reviews posts!! Possibly experiment with weekly wrap up.
- I have tons of quotations from books I read this past year, I would like to start scheduling some of that.
- Possibly also a meme based on top Google search queries and my Goodreads shelves!
Come back tomorrow
to see the books I plan to read in October!

I’ll now be linking my monthly recap posts
Thanks Kathryn, great idea!
Happy Blogiversary! I completely missed mine. You read Fear! Can’t wait to see your review.
so when was your blogiversary. by the way, your ID when you comment only shows your email. I don’t think I know where you blog. and yes Fear was good!
My blog is http://keepthewisdom.blogspot.com. It is supposed to be on my WordPress profile. My blogiversary is July 1st. 13 years and counting!
for whatever reason, wp only gives me your email and IP. but I now follow you through twitter and email. Congrats on 13 years!
Happy belated blogoversary! Wishing you a happy October!
thanks! Happy reading too
Good to hear you really enjoyed Alex Rider. I would like to read the Trump book, I must see if I can pick it up at the library.
I do need to do a short review on Fear. It’s very well done. There’s probably a huge line of people requesting it at your library. I was just curious ad just looked at the status of this one at my own library. They bought 38 copies, and there are 68 holds… So glad I requested it as soon as I knew it would be published, so I managed to get it from my library on release day.

That’s the secret for getting books from the library!
I just finished a French written translated book called A Winter’s Promise! Earlier in the year I read The Book of Pearl which was the same and I adored both books!! Your French blog just reminded me of them both. ❤
cool! I actually have his Neverland on my TBR, but have not read it yet
