May 2018 wrap-up
Wow, thank God there was Bout of Books in May, with one great week of reading, to redeem the whole, as the rest was quite pathetic. And 3 days with another crazy bout, this one of allergy, left me with NO energy, not even enough to read, which is really a bad sign…
Hence another low average month…
So here are the few books I read in May, BUT 2 were amazingly good!:
5 books:
4 in print
= with 1,278 pages, an average of 41 pages/day
1 in audio
= with 7H32, an average of 14mn/day
4 in mystery

-
Un peu plus loin sur la droite, by Fred Vargas – audio in French
-

Plans for June
No real plan this month, and I know that unfortunately, I won’t have much time to read during 2 weeks and a half…
Come back tomorrow

I enjoyed reading about your experience with the Bout of Books. I look forward to your review of the Kobo Abe book. I posted a comment on your review of The Tree of Man but I will copy that here so you don’t have to look it up: I have read The Tree of Man for a Nobel Prize author challenge. I loved it! The pace was just right for the story and the characters so true to life. My review is here: http://keepthewisdom.blogspot.com/2017/04/the-tree-of-man.html
Happy reading in June!

Sometimes life happens and our reading doesn’t go as hoped. I hope that the time you do get in June to read its enjoyable time and you find a book or books you love.
