I loved The other Einstein too. I didn’t know she had another book out. I’ll have to look for it.

Miguel Bonnefoy’s book has beautiful cover art! The books by Andrew Louth and Ivo Andric look especially good to me. I learned of Andric’s book when I did a ReadNobels challenge a few years ago, so I will be very interested to read your review of it. Maurice Druon’s histfic series seems intriguing as well–I’m looking into it now! 🙂
In January, I plan to keep on reading The Old Curiosity Shop, my wintry novel. And I will be reading Nancy Mitford’s biography of Madame Pompadour with our Tuesday book club on Goodreads.

Andrew Louth is an amazing scholar on Patristics. I’ve been hesitating to dive into The Old Curiosity Shop, so I’m curious to see what you have to say about it
