  1. Miguel Bonnefoy’s book has beautiful cover art! The books by Andrew Louth and Ivo Andric look especially good to me. I learned of Andric’s book when I did a ReadNobels challenge a few years ago, so I will be very interested to read your review of it. Maurice Druon’s histfic series seems intriguing as well–I’m looking into it now! 🙂

In January, I plan to keep on reading The Old Curiosity Shop, my wintry novel. And I will be reading Nancy Mitford’s biography of Madame Pompadour with our Tuesday book club on Goodreads.
