Six degrees of separation:
from
IT
to
THE BROKEN TEAGLASS
Thanks to Karen’s posts at BookerTalk on Six Degrees of Separation, I finally discovered this fun meme, hosted by Kate at Booksaremyfavouriteandbest (see there the origin of the meme and how it works – posted the first Saturday of every month.
As every blogger can invent their own rules, I chose a quirky one, of course:
Use your list of books on Goodreads
Take the first word of the title offered and find another title with that word in it
Then use the first word of THAT title to find your text title
Or the second if the title starts by the same word
So here is my result for today:
1. IT
2. As you like IT
3. French Illusions: My Story AS an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley
4. The FRENCH House
5. Glass HOUSES
6. The Broken TEAGLASS

HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS?
HAVE YOU PLAYED
SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION
THIS MONTH?
How fun! I’ve only read IT but all of these look good to me:)

Thanks for joining in 🙂
I worked out all your links except As You Like It to French Illusions… it has me stumped! Please tell me and put me out of my misery! 😀

I put the full titles of the books at the end of the post. It is: French Illusions: My Story AS an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley. The previous book, AS yYou Like It, beginning by AS. I had to find a book with AS in the title, hence that one. Then this one beginning with French, my next title as French in it

I also struggled with that link just looking at the images but all became clear when I read the full titles of the books. Well done for joining in – you did make it even more difficult by inventing that rule about linked titles!

This is such a fun way of doing it! I love the results. I’m a little late this month, but I’m currently working on a SDOS post, so hopefully I put it up in the next day or two. 😉

I like your technique. It’s produced a diverse selection of books, none of which I’ve read, which is usually the case with this meme for me!
