5 out of 100 notable books of 2017
The New York Times has recently released their list of 100 Notable Books of 2017
I was curious to compare it with my lists.
ON MY READ SHELF
(100 books so far this year)
Out of 100, I only read 1!:
ON MY TBR SHELF
FICTION
NONFICTION
What about you?
Have you read any of these 5 books?
How many of the 100 Notable Books
have you read?
Which one do you think
I should ABSOLUTELY read?
I have not read any of these sadly, but it does look like a lot of great books. I will need to check out your reviews!

The one I read was with a read-along group. You can access the posts by clicking on the cover. It was a nice experience

You’re doing well with 5 out of 100! 0 out of 100 for me 😃. Divided Friends about Adams and Jefferson looks good to me, also the pairing of Churchill and Orwell.

Wait, I have read only 1. As I explained, the other 4 have been on my TBR only!! The 2 you highlight should be really good too

That’s quite the mix of genres. And all of these authors are new to me. Looking For The Stranger looks interesting.

I’ve read two and abandoned two! The two I enjoyed and would recommend are Selection Day by Aravind Adiga and White Tears by Hari Kunzru – both excellent.

Interesting that you highlight Adiga. I had never heard about that author before, but on Dec 1st, my library picked a book by him for a special challenge. See my video on my blog this coming Monday!

I’ll look forward to it! 😀

Hmm, I’ve read none of these books! Well done for at least reading one. I’ve got closest to reading Lincoln in the Bardo, I bought a copy, but have lent it to a friend, I do want to read it though. Actually I’d like to read quite a few of them- mostly fiction.

Lincoln in the Bardo sounds so weird, I’m really hesitating
