That’s an interesting mix right there Emma. I’ve seen A Taste of Paris online, but not in a shop here, it’s one I’d buy on first sighting. I haven’t read any David Downie although have been aware of him for some time. I’d never thought of audiobooks in French, I wonder if I’d be good enough to listen, I certainly wouldn’t get every little nuance. Where do you get your audiobooks in French? BTW I think you’d really enjoy The Hidden Life of Trees, a) it’s amazing and b) the author is German, so all the trees are European and you’d have a much better knowledge of the trees he talks about than I did.

Audiobooks in French. They are actually on Audible. choose a genre, then in the left menu choose the language you want.
