The Novel of the Century:
The Extraordinary Adventure of Les Misérables
Yes! You are reading correctly, another vlog!
Enjoy, this time on a French classic:
HAVE YOU READ LES MISÉRABLES?
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST IN IT?
Very interesting…merci Emma. I recently read Les Miserables for the first time and absolutely loved it.
wonderful! so you try this book, or at least watch the video where Bellos talks about it – link under my video on youtube
I admire how you have jumped into vlogging.
thanks. It’s actually Armchair BEA in 2014 that launched me. I wish I had time to do more
I read the unabridged of Les Mis and I honestly don’t like what I like most in it at all. My knowledge of the musical is what pushed me to finish it in less than one summer: that summer was in 2015. I love the story of hope, love, compassion, forgiveness, sacrifice, humanity, and redemption. Well, what I like most perhaps is that it gave me a bigger appreciation of the musical.
oh wow, it’s mostly an amazing portrait of the society of the time
To me, there are many reasons to love that story and those characters
do you mind sharing a few?
