I’m not familiar with too many of these, though I do have Born a Crime on my own TBR. I’ve been hearing really good things about it.

It’s definitely a very good book, especially if you are interested in diversity.
And talking about diversity, you can find all kinds of different books on my blog ;-), from heavy crime fiction to Eastern Orthodox nonfiction!!

well, right now I’m stuck in the long introduction, because I was commissioned at the last minute to review a book for Eurolitnetwork (http://eurolitnetwork.com/rivetingreviews-emma-cazabonne-reviews-the-principle-by-jerome-ferrari/ ), and then I absolutely needed to finish this long and slow book on Flaubert – upcoming review. So I should be able to get back to it tomorrow. I loved it to pieces a few decades ago when I studied it, so I hope I will still enjoy it.
