Introduce Yourself #insixwords
In case you have not seen it, come this way - I posted a book giveaway
- I took part in the crazy chat. There were some new questions. I enjoyed the question about some 2017 goals we had not shared with anyone else before, and was amazed by the honesty of the participants. It was also sad to see that many people are struggling against depression. Book blogging is closer to my prayer life than you would imagine!
NOTES:
- Considering I spent 1 hour in the chat, plus an extra 25 mn to go through Twitter notifications received during the chat, to follow other bloggers and share spreadsheets with them, I am super happy with this result of 103 pages for day 1!
My challenge is to read 490 pages (average of 70 pages/day).
According to my 2016 stats, I read an average of 68 pages per day throughout 2016, so I would like to challenge myself to do a tiny bit more that first week of 2017!
Not counting some time for audiobooks as well.
It’s going to be tough, as I actually celebrate the Nativity with my Church Friday night and Saturday – I’m Russian Orthodox, and we follow the Julian Calendar, so Christmas in on January 7.
What will I be reading from:
-
The Great and the Good, by Michel Déon – French literature in translation, for review – BOOK FINISHED
-
The World Between Two Covers, by Ann Morgan – nonfiction, for review – reading
-
The Shadow of the Cross, by Dmitry Yakhovsky – historical fiction, ebook for review – BOOK FINISHED
-
