Year of reading 2016
Part 1
My top 12
To follow my tradition, here is part 1 of my yearly recap.
There will be a total of 3 parts:
-
my favorites, with my usual categories, see here below
-
my stats
-
my fun list with titles
I only finished 95 this year, so I had to leave a couple of categories blank.
My final choice is based on the quality of the book, on how it resonated with me and my own experience, and on how it stayed with me. Some of these books may actually have got only 4 out 5 Eiffel Towers at the time I read them.
MY FAVORITES

HAPPY NEW YEAR OF READING TO YOU!
I feel guilty for having never read The Martian Chronicles. I’m glad it made it into your favorites for 2016, he is iconic. Great list!

Thanks to your tours, I read Sword of the Maiden and Time and Regret, both stand-out favorites for me this year too! Glad you liked The Complete Review Guide to Contemporary World Fiction as much as I did! Lots there to keep exploring. And The Martian Chronicles, an all-time favorite for me. As always, it was a pleasure to follow your reading adventures this year.
