  1. Are you going to read only French translations or more kinds? I do want to read more translated books this year. I am very (VERY) slowly re-learning French and Spanish so I am hoping to be able to translate children’s books in French soon. (I can do picture books in Spanish already as a rule.) I hope to read The Tale of Genji some this year but want to read more translations, too. Good luck with your challenge!!

    • thanks Becca, to you too! Any book in translation that I will find appealing. as you will see in the 2nd part of my recap tomorrow, I read books translated from 8 different languages in 2015. The Tale of Genji: that’s a mega goal! I have wanted then hesitated on the size of it. I want first to finish all of Proust, just 1 and a half to go, and read The Divine Comedy before any other huge work
