Are you going to read only French translations or more kinds? I do want to read more translated books this year. I am very (VERY) slowly re-learning French and Spanish so I am hoping to be able to translate children’s books in French soon. (I can do picture books in Spanish already as a rule.) I hope to read The Tale of Genji some this year but want to read more translations, too. Good luck with your challenge!!

thanks Becca, to you too! Any book in translation that I will find appealing. as you will see in the 2nd part of my recap tomorrow, I read books translated from 8 different languages in 2015. The Tale of Genji: that’s a mega goal! I have wanted then hesitated on the size of it. I want first to finish all of Proust, just 1 and a half to go, and read The Divine Comedy before any other huge work
