Today is the official
release day of
I recently received this book from Gallic Books, but as it’s 600 pages, I don’t have time to review it today. I wanted to inform you though about its publication day.
Andrea Japp is a very famous author of historical thrillers in France.
This series is comprised of 4 books, but they appear in English in 2 volumes, so volume 1 has book 1 and 2. They ARE thrillers, but packed with social, religious, and political facts of the 14th century in France and the Holy Land. A real page turner!
And the fun part is that I will present to you the 2nd volume (with books 3 and 4), just as long, at the beginning of 2016!
Part one of the story of Agnès de Souarcy, a tale of intrigue set in medieval France.
1304. The Church and the French Crown are locked in a power struggle. In the Normandy countryside, monks on a secret mission are brutally murdered and a poisoner is at large at Clairets Abbey. Young noblewoman Agnès de Souarcy fights to retain her independence but must face the Inquisition, unaware that she is the focus of an ancient quest.
