October 2015 wrap-up
Wow, it feels like I did this wrap-up for last month just yesterday! But the nice thing is that after an early frost, November begins with wonderful warm days.
Here is what I read in October:
6 books.
= 4 books only, but with 1,351 pages, that is: 43.5 pages/day.

- The Lake House, by Kate Morton – ebook
- The Spider and the Stone, by Glen Craney – ebook
2 in mystery:
- A Trick of the Light, by Louise Penny – audiobook

Gosh it seems everyone is reading either Kate Morton or Patrick Modiano right now. I’ve tried Morton in the past but found her not to my taste. Modiano was more my kind of thing

I’m sure glad to hear everyone is reading Modiano, it’s about time he is really discovered outside the French reading public! Good also for reading/publishing books in translation.
As for Morton, as I said, I read everything she writes, as soon as it comes out

Ooh, I’m so excited for The Lake House! I read The Forgotten Garden this year and loved it, I couldn’t put it down. Now I’m really excited to dive into more of Morton’s work!
