Great books! Gillman is an author I’d love to go back and reread and Louise Penny is on my TBR. I’ve heard great things about her mysteries. Have a great week!

you too. Yes they are both great authors. Louise Penny does a great job about characters, about relationships between them. Her detective is the quiet, contemplative type, who solves crimes a lot by observing and listening to people. Her novels are deep.

I love the book plate. That is amazing. I wonder what my family would say if I served turkey on it for Thanksgiving.
Have a good week!

I have been wanting to read Louise Penny’s series for quite some time. How do you like the audio books?

the audiobooks are awesome. Choose with Ralph Cosham as narrator, I think he’s much better than the other one – most of the books have 2 recordings available. Unfortunately Ralph passed away last year I think, so future books won’t be by him, unless he already recorded some, I know next to be release is still by him! Cosham has the perfect voice for Armand Gamache, I think

Quebec City is a beautiful place to visit, and the tour was marvelous.
The tour was based on her book, BURY YOUR DEAD.
I had a post about it on my blog earlier this year.
