WHAT I READ ON DAY 2:
- The Fictional 100: Ranking the Most Influential Characters in World Literature and Legend, by Lucy Pollard-Gott = 4 pages
- Player Choice, by Jeff Deck = 25 pages
PAGES READ ON DAY 2 = only 29.
I’m ending up reading less during Bout of Books Week! The culprit yesterday was the movie Mr. Turner which I had checked out at the library and had to watch before returning. If you are an artist and/or like biographies and fantastic acting, this is for you!
A real portrait of a complex character, not a simplification à la Hollywood, as some other recent successful movies. They worked so hard to make that movie, real ART. I highly recommend you watch the documentary part going with the DVD, explaining how they did the movie.
PAGES READ SO FAR= 81 only
I didn’t do any challenge yesterday

WHAT I READ ON DAY 1:
- The Homilies of Saint Gregory Palamas = 4 pages
- The Fictional 100: Ranking the Most Influential Characters in World Literature and Legend, by Lucy Pollard-Gott = 4 pages
- The Holy Lance, by Andrew Latham = 44 pages – BOOK FINISHED
- Station Eleven, by Emily St John Mandel – audio = 2 hours
PAGES READ SO FAR= 52 only, because of 1 hour spent at the Twitter party
ALSO:
- I took part in the insane Twitter Chat and added loads of book bloggers on my Twitter account
- I did the Bookish Survey
- I posted a book contest – remember, the 1st to guess the 2 correct answers wins the 5 books! Seriously, use the clues and the search button on my blog, and you will find them quickly!

then it’s really for you. Have you watched Tim’s Vermeer yet? This guy recreated the light the painter had to paint his gorgeous works. Short fascinating documentary
