15 Books to read in May 2015

Now that I’m ALMOST done reading all the books for the IFFP shortlist, I can catch up with other books I had promised to read for review. With less pressure.

  • I plan to start reading again a chapter a day of the first two books listed here below
  • Almost done with #3, so hilarious, so good (for IFFP)
  • As for #4, I’m currently translating it into French
  • The last two are audiobooks – I’m almost done with The Girl on the Train – excellent!

Click on the covers to know more:

The Fictional 100 The Homilies by Palamas

Look Who's Back Tell No Lies

Bridges of Paris

The Holy Lance Player Choice

The French Sultana

Petite Confessions Before Paris

The Room Race to Tibet

    • am almost done. I have done that much with a literary novel for a while. Loving it, I’m also seeing it as a super smart satire of our current society, some critics tend to skip that element, focusing more on the past and politics (see computers, clothes, pets, leaf blowers, etc!) Too bad it did not make it in the shortlist of the IFFP
