My Top 10 “all time” favorite Books
TTT Prompt for March 3:
Top Ten Books You Would Classify As ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS from the past 3 years
This is REALLY hard to pick up 10 books out of around 225 books I have read since January 2013. But that was a good exercise, that actually brought some surprises:
I always say that right now my favorite genre is historical fiction, but only one showed up in my list!
Then 1 crime fiction (surprise!), 1 mystery, 2 science fiction (another surprise!), 1 literary fiction, and 4 nonfiction!
Here are the book covers. You can easily find my reviews for each by using for instance my Authors List
Great list! Mr. Penumbra and Ready Player One are both on my TBR. I’m especially looking forward to reading Mr. Penumbra.

I liked a lot Sophie’s World, but the prompt was during the last 3 years, and I read this maybe 10 years ago. Gaarder is a fascinating author, I read several of his books

it is such a beautiful contemplative book. the author almost killed himself falling from his roof recently. he was in the coma for a while. he is recovering. I saw him on a French cultural program, face all banged up, but he made it!

oh wow, favorite of favorites! so went back to see if I had time to reread 1 which would I would take: The Consolations of the Forest, but that’s because of my love for contemplative setting and style. If you listen to audiobooks though, you REALLY need to listen to Ready Player One, everyone has been so ecstatic about it
