2015 TBR Pile Reading Challenge

2015 TBRCLICK ON THE BANNER TO JOIN THIS CHALLENGE

I did miserably last year, 4/12, but I’m trying again this year, as one of my resolutions is to be even more picky when accepting books for tours or reviews. So that should leave me room for my TBR!

Here are the 12 titles I plan on reading. They need to have been published before 2014:

  1. Labyrinth, by Kate Mosse
  2. Vendredi ou les limbes du pacifique, by Michel Tournier
  3. Gaspard, Melchior & Balthazar, by Michel Tournier
  4. La vie mode d’emploi, by Georges Pérec
  5. Eventide, by Kent Haruf
  6. The Queen’s Lover
  7. The Bridge on the Drina
  8. The Illusion of Separateness
  9. The Poisoned Crown, by Maurice Druon
  10. In a Grove, by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa
  11. The Woman in White
  12. The Awakening, by Chopin

Alternates:

  1. Stoner
  2. The Art Forger

  1. The Woman in White and the Awakening are the only titles on this list that I am familiar with, but the other titles look very interesting. By the sound of them I’m guessing most are historical fiction? Also, I’m curious about the one by Tournier titled ‘Gaspard, Melchoir and Balthazar’ – is this one, by any chance, about the three wise men from the Bible?…
