  • Alex, by Pierre Lemaitre, another book shipped by Quercus!
Pierre Lemaitre won last year le Prix Goncourt for
Au revoir là-haut, historical novel on WWI.
Before that, he was most famous for his thrillers,
and Irene that I read was so fabulous. This is the sequel

    • sorry, not sure why that happened to your previous comment, I see it. yes for the length, especially lots of people I have heard about it say it’s dragging in the middle, but both beginning and end awesome, so we’ll see

    • this is terrible, and i’m one of the exceptions to the rule I guess, but I had to DNF The Shadow of the Mind, which I wanted to love so much. Tha narrator was awesome, so I ended up listening to 55% of it, but really had to stop: too much paranormal that I could no longer stand
