I know, very few people I know didn’t like it. I think it’s the paranormal that I could not longer stand

Keen to hear what you thought of Donna Tartt’s latest. I struggled with Secret History (etc) but enjoyed The Little Friend.

Ugh, my comment got cut off. I’m looking forward to reading The Goldfinch. I’m a little daunted by the length!

sorry, not sure why that happened to your previous comment, I see it. yes for the length, especially lots of people I have heard about it say it’s dragging in the middle, but both beginning and end awesome, so we’ll see

this is terrible, and i’m one of the exceptions to the rule I guess, but I had to DNF The Shadow of the Mind, which I wanted to love so much. Tha narrator was awesome, so I ended up listening to 55% of it, but really had to stop: too much paranormal that I could no longer stand
