I’ve never enjoyed audio books, every so often I try one, but they just don’t work for me.

thanks Martha, it does not seem to be where it was announced for each day

You read more non-fiction in January than I did all year. Yikes! More non-fiction definitely needs to make my goals for next year.

there were some really great ones, I enjoyed so much The Innovators by Isaacson on the history of computers and the digital world. fascinating, and even the audio was awesome

I think I only read about 2 non-fiction books total this year. Kinda sad, really.

if you feel bad about it, you could schedule your coming year by genre, like read at least 1 nonfiction every month or every other month? Sometimes I do this for the numerous book challenges I do

Oh, I like the way you organized this!

I love how you broke this up! It’s fun to see how the season affected not only your numbers but what you were reading. I had forgotten about the Mrs. Polifax series but you have me wanting to revisit it!

warning the easiest is to add the info after you finish each book, otherwise that’s plain insane lol

Do you have a stat sheet? Just keep notes in a notebook? I need something easy so I will do it!

I use a google sheet. Under Reading Challenges: https://wordsandpeace.com/2014/01/05/2014-reading-challenges/, I give the public links to both my reading yearly recap, where I had a book each time I finish one, with number of pages, genre, format, etc. So for instance when I read my 1st HF I put 1 in that column, and when I read another one, I put 2 in that column, so that I always know how many of each genre etc I have read, without having to do mega additions at the end of the year. the color code is given on the very 1st line of the chart. just added book 99 yesterday night. you can see it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqZIzZFqfnNxdDRCM1E0d1RhdVphTkdYbHNRN2M4TVE&usp=sharing#gid=0.
And I have a similar sheet for my reading challenges: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqZIzZFqfnNxdHFoZ3JJaUQ2VUoyVWlJQThyMTc5WUE&usp=sharing#gid=0
