  1. Hard to pick one from such a great selection, but I’d choose Age of Desire because it’s about one of my favorite authors. I plan to visit The Mount, her estate in Lenox, Massachusetts, next Spring.

  2. What a great selection! The Lost Duchess sounds like a great twist on the plethora of historicals set in the Tudor court. Looks intriguing.

  3. All of the books look wonderful and I am adding them to my want list. If I won I’d like to start with the Lost Duchess. I like Elizabethan times and castles and idealists, desperados and misfits.

  4. They all sound good but I’d like to win Meadowlark, By Dawn Wink because it’s not a book I’d normally read and it’s good to try different types of books once in a while.

  5. Thanks for participation in this great giveaway hop — my favorite! I cannot pass up *The Crown* as I have a copy of Nancy Bilyeau’s *The Chalice* already. It would be nice to start the series properly! Cheers, Kara S

  7. I would most like to read The Lost Duchess because I have been hearing some great things about this book. Thanks for having this giveaway.

  8. I just added a bunch of these to my wishlist. I don’t want to pick!! I put The Third Son in the widget, because it kind of reminded me of Chinese Cinderella, an autobiography I read in middle school and appreciated (I was going to say loved, but that doesn’t sound great to say about “The True Story of an Unwanted Daughter”). Some of my favorite books ever delve into different Asian cultures. I don’t see many of them, so maybe that plays a part – what I see gets filtered for quality first. Anyway, thank you for the chance!

    • thanks Sarah for sharing. As for Asia I love Japanese literature, and actually try to do the Japanese Literature Challenge every year, but I’m usually keeping these for me, lol! There are also Chinese authors I like, such as Dai Sijie, though he actually writes in French!

  9. I want to read more than just one novel, was glad when I clicked the cover lead me to Goodreads, as so that I can go back…loved the storylines of five novels.
