  1. I passed on Bitter Greens and I am regretting it as everyone is liking it! Dang. Also, I kind of like that cover!

I see you are reading Proust. I love that. You don’t see many bloggers reading the deep, complex stuff!

    • I could swap my ARC of Bitter Greens for one of yours. Do you have a list somewhere of books you are ready to get rid of? Though being French, I had never taken time to read more than vol 1 of Proust. So I started last year with the very active group of reading all of Proust in the year, that was the anniversary of the 1st volume. But I didn’t keep up the timing, so still working on it this year

  2. You have some interesting books this week, Bitter greens sounds like an intriguing mix of the historical and fantastic. And A Paris Apartment and Seven Letters from Paris both sound good as well. Happy 4th blogoversary coming up, I enjoyed your A to Z post.

  3. I like your Paris book. I’ve got a good one started about France. It’s four people traveling together in a car. Whatever they eat or see seems so real. It’s really a yummy book. Hope to say a word or two about it on your meme.

    • now you make me wonder what book this is! French Leave by Anne Gavalda? I think this is the only French book I know with 4 people in a car, lol. Looking forward to your review. If this is not the book, you should anyway read this one
