To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Please click on the book covers to access the Goodreads synopsis, my review, or virtual book tours.

What are you currently reading?

France on the Brink

An excellent presentation of the economic and political situation of France right now:
why does France looks so attractive to tourists,
while the French are so pessimistic and so critical of their government
and all that’s going on in France?
That’s what the author is trying to explain.
I will review this book for France Book Tours on Aug 6

What did you recently finish reading?

The Cheshire Cheese CatI rarely read children books,
but I won this one during Armchair BEA,
and just received it!
It’s really a cute smart story about a cat
and his friends and enemies
in a very popular British inn,
where a certain Mr Dickens comes often
to try to write and find inspiration
for the 2 first lines of his novel…
Very well done!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Madame Picasso
I will probably start reading Madame Picasso,
a historical novel on
Eva Gouel,
the woman who stole Picasso‘s heart!’
My review is scheduled for Aug 28
for a book tour
on Historical Fiction Virtual Book Tour

  1. I just finished Eloisa James’ Paris in love. Next is Suzanne Woods-Fisher’s The Letters and then Steve Martin’s An Object of Beauty. Of course, I have a package coming that has a book in it from a certain blogger that may shift this timeline.

I have to tell you about a recent Kindle read: The Universe Builders. That was a five star review on bith GoodReads and Amazon

    • Thanks for sharing Andrea. Paris in Love has been on my TBR for a while, and now I just added The Universe Builders! wow, the Goodreads rating is huge, and I entered their giveaway! Thanks for the recommendation

  2. I am reading “The Bone Church” by Victoria Dougherty and “The Romances of George Sand” by Anna Faktorovich. I just finished “The Ghost Bride” by Yangsze Choo and “August 1914” by Alexandr Solzhenistsyn. I haven’t decided, what I want to read next.

  3. My reading has suffered the past few weeks… life happenings. I am just getting back on track now – finished an audio in the car yesterday and will finish the one in the house this morning. As for books.. I am struggling with California.
