I got 3 books this past week!

Watch my short video to know all about them and discover how I acquired them.

As a game, I’m going to give you 3 words here for each. Try to guess what the book is before watching the video!
Those familiar with Words And Peace and France Book Tours will easily recognize #1 and #3. I think #2 is too easy!

Book #1: Water / Bordeaux Wine/ WW1

Book #2: Rapunzel / Australia / Color

Book #3: France / Economy / Politics

Have you read any of these?
Did you receive any exciting books this past week?

  1. These look to be great bunch of books. In particular “France on the Brink” looks very intriguing. The social, cultural and political challenges that all modern democracies face are very important to understand. Those faced by France are of particular interest to me.

    • I am only in the 3rd chapter, but I think I can tell already it’s really a great book, with deep analysis. I recommend it, to really understand the French, and go beyond the too easy and sorry to say, totally inaccurate American clichés

  2. I always enjoy your videos. THANKS for sharing. I wasn’t able to guess the books, but great idea for your game.

The Wharf of Chartrons is calling my name. 🙂 Bitter Greens looks fantastic as well. France on the Brink isn’t calling my name. 🙂

I missed the tour for Amy I guess. Oh well. Another time.

    Have a great reading week.
