I received 1 book that’s getting popular right now:
Won at Books And Reviews
Watch my short video to know more about it:
From the highly acclaimed, multiple award-winning Anthony Doerr, a stunningly ambitious and beautiful novel about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.

Thanks for sharing your video about the book. It is interesting that the chapters are in reverse order. I hope you enjoy it. Have a great week.

thanks for stopping by and watching my video. Yes, the French speaking writers often come up with interesting twists. I left a comment on the book you received, which sounds great as well

That book was at the BEA. I picked it up, but haven’t read it yet. Too many to choose from and some in my mailbox too. 🙂
I hope it is a good read.
Have a great rest of the week. Love your videos.

I received The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, and I hated it! Perhaps the press which overdoes its praise is partly to blame; the other part is the story was just long, boring, and written by someone obviously (to me) quite young who doesn’t know America at all. Anyway, I couldn’t even review it on my blog I was so disappointed. I’ll be interested to know your thoughts.

I just wrote a long post which WP sucked up into cyber space explaining why I was so disappointed in this book. Suffice it to say, I’ll be interested in your point of view when you finish it. Maybe it’s good my negativity didn’t stick! 🙂
