I received 1 book that’s getting popular right now:

The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair

Won at Books And Reviews

Watch my short video to know more about it:

From the highly acclaimed, multiple award-winning Anthony Doerr, a stunningly ambitious and beautiful novel about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.

Did you receive any exciting books this past week?

    • thanks for stopping by and watching my video. Yes, the French speaking writers often come up with interesting twists. I left a comment on the book you received, which sounds great as well

  1. I received The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, and I hated it! Perhaps the press which overdoes its praise is partly to blame; the other part is the story was just long, boring, and written by someone obviously (to me) quite young who doesn’t know America at all. Anyway, I couldn’t even review it on my blog I was so disappointed. I’ll be interested to know your thoughts.

  2. I just wrote a long post which WP sucked up into cyber space explaining why I was so disappointed in this book. Suffice it to say, I’ll be interested in your point of view when you finish it. Maybe it’s good my negativity didn’t stick! ๐Ÿ™‚
