To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Not sure how often I will do this, but I’m excited today to present my first WWW Wednesday EVER!

What are you currently reading?

Tree of man

Well,
I’m never reading only 1 book at a time,
usually 4 or 5,
but I will present only 1.
This is for Australian Literature Month.
Patrick White
won the Nobel Prize
of literature
in 1973.

This is a thick book,
so beautiful with its descriptions on nature,
on solitude,
on relations between people shaped by their environment.
I’m enjoying every line.
The writing is superb!

What did you recently finish reading?

An Enchantment

This is a cool short graphic-novel on the Louvre Museum in Paris.
A charming story about fantasy, art, and beauty.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Syncopation

I will probably read
this historical novel
on Adèle Hugo,
Victor’s beloved daughter,
who was thought to be mad.
Looks like it is beautifully written
and I received it from the author.

HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THESE?

  1. What a great idea! I just finished 25 Rue St Therese by Elena Mauri Shapiro. Currently reading Honour by Elif Shafak. Next up is London in the 18th Century by Jerry White. Looking forward to hearing what others are reading. Polly
