A sweet reader just mentioned that
today
my blog does not allow you to write any comment to my posts
if you do not have any wordpress account!!
I didn’t change any settings,
so I have no idea where this is coming from.
I contacted the wordpress crew.
Hopefully it will be fixed very soon.

If she hadn’t told you, you wouldn’t be any the wiser
I had no idea this problem existed, as I always comment using my WP account. I hope the WP crew has a quick fix!

Yes, I’m so fortunate to have attentive readers, and I do hope the fix will come soon!

It could be the “prove you’re not a robot” part. I can’t figure out the middle letters-they’re very jumbled together. It took me 5 tries and had to go to your e-mail, which I feel is a bother to you. Anyway MAYBE it’s NOT my eyesight!

hmm, I’m going to test it again, maybe they already fixed the glitch, I doubt I’m the only wordpress blog affected with that

The WordPress team, thank you Bryan, came quickly to my rescue!
The thing is that last May, they changed some settings: if the email you use to post a comment is associated with a gravatar account, you will need to sign in your gravatar account to be able to submit a comment. It is actually as simple as that!
If some folks don’t know about this, I added it to the comment prompt, to be sure no one feels stuck. I do want to hear from ALL of you, wordpress users or not, everyone is welcome!
