The Weekly Photo Challenge is:
Share a picture that means INSIDE to you!
In France, there are lots of beautiful doors in every city. They are gorgeous invitation to go INSIDE, where you can often discover fantastic private inner yards. This one is in Dijon, Burgundy. I liked the unusual color and the wooden sculpture on top, with the gorgeous drapery effect.
HAVE YOU RECENTLY TAKEN A PICTURE

I love that – I always look at all those doors when I’m on holiday in Paris, and wonder what’s behind them, and just occasionally one is open and you get a glimpse through into a hidden courtyard. My Snapshot is http://goo.gl/ha45K

I have a funny story about that. One day, we did go through one of those courtyards in Paris, and the door closed behind us. a code was needed even to get out!! fortunately, someone else came in not too long after, so we rushed out!
I like your picture with the oven

So beautiful! I love this about old European cities; they have such an eye for beauty and proportion and colour.

France does have so many beautiful doors inviting us to go inside. That draping above the door is exquisite- I’ve never seen anything like it.

I was only able to spend a few days in Paris this past June and I’m already itching to go back. Nice photo.
